Kevin Clarke, MAI, began his real estate career in the 1970s, and earned his MAI designation in 1981, while employed at Conger, Schueler & McKown. In 1983, he founded the firm now known as Clarke, White & Veenstra. For nearly 35 years he has analyzed and valued a variety of income-producing and investment grade properties located throughout Washington and the western United States. He is recognized for his unique expertise in negotiating and resolving real estate value disputes, including negotiation and arbitration. He has also qualified as an Expert Witness in various jurisdictions.
Andrew J. White is the former President of Hospitality Management Company and earned his CHA designation in hotel administration in 1984. He brought his hotel development, general manager’s and corporate controller’s experience to our firm in 1985. He has over 30 years of experience in analyzing real estate. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, whose practice focuses on appraising hospitality properties, unique special purpose–going-concern uses, and investment-grade real estate located throughout Washington and the western United States.
Nicholas H. Veenstra, MAI, started in the real estate industry as a research analyst at Shorett & Riley while attending the University of Washington. After graduating, he worked in the field of market analysis, preparing economic feasibility studies for United Grocers of Portland, Oregon regarding new store development, or existing store expansion. He joined our firm in 1984 and earned his MAI designation in 1991. He offers clients nearly 30 years of appraisal and consulting experience, focusing on a broad based appraisal practice, with much of his work in the Puget Sound Region, the Peninsula, and the San Juan Islands.
